A big problem in many developed and developing country’s is air pollution. There are three reasons to pollute the environment. They are population density, destroying forest, and industrial and household smoke.
Population density
The Ulaanbaatar city is located between four big mountains. Mongolia has a large territory, but our capital city is being in small piece of the area. There must reside no more than six hundred thousand people in the city. However, the number is superfluous. A million people who are registered and unregistered citizens live in Ulaanbaatar. It is one of the main reasons polluting air. All markets and service offices are centralized in one place.
”I live in Dari ekh province of Sukhbaatar district. People who live in there throw their cinder and house rubbishes in road. So, our road became deposal site. When I go out in the morning, cinder makes sore my tongue.” Said Dari Ekh province’s resident A.Gantsetseg
We have to move city centralization to suburb in order to reduce air pollution.
